The Reason You Are Unhappy, Overwhelmed, and Losing at the Game of Life.

What I share in this video is one of the most mind blowing concepts I have ever discovered.

Trust me on this one! Three years ago, when I was depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and burned out… I had no idea why I felt the way I felt.

But I still felt it.

Looking back on it, now it all makes perfect sense.

You’ll understand after you watch the video.

How To Identify Your Dream and live it.

How to Identify Exactly What You Want in Life.

The Three Questions That Will Guarantee Your Success(If you dare to answer them).

For The Comments

What do you want to achieve over the next 30 days of your life? What is your plan to achieve it?

I love this and I love THE THREE (daring) QUESTIONS– I’m looking forward to a post that deals more with execution– I like the analogy of “scripting out the first 10 plays”– but I know a lot of people who struggle with implementation of their plan and following through– would love your thoughts on what you think these people need to do differently

I’m on it Dani! I’m so glad you brought this up. In fact, I gotta give you a high-five to a fist pound because this comment alone inspired me to write a 3 post series on 1) How to set up the game plan 2) How to execute the game plan and 3) how to analyze the game plan after it has been executed.

The first one will come out this Friday. The other 2 will soon follow after.

Thanks for writing such an awesome comment!

Izzy, I finally got a chance to take a walk with you. This is awesome!

    • http://www.vishnusvirtues.com/ Vishnu

I got a chance to walk with Izzy in Los Angeles. We crossed the street together.

      • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

He’s not lying… We really did this together.

    • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

Awesome :) . I’m glad you enjoyed our walk together.

Great stuff. I felt like I was walking right along with ya too. I think stuff like deliberate practice is helpful as well, especially when the execution part includes teaching oneself new skills.

    • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

I couldn’t agree more Bryann. Deliberate practice is critical. It’s not just taking the time to practice, but also how we practice. Deliberate practice is a “Talent is Overrated”(the book) reference, correct?

      • http://twitter.com/balexandros Bryann

Well, I’ve heard of the book, but never knew the term originated from there. I might check that out.

      • http://twitter.com/balexandros Bryann

Ah I see: Yeah it is from a book: http://www.actionablebooks.com/summaries/talent-is-overrated/

I came across the term from other blogs that talked about it. I overlooked the fact it was from that book.

Why are so many people opposed to having a plan for their life? Because that’d be work!

I like the sports example. A team can plan, prepare, and practice their hearts out. But once the game has started, the time for preparation is over and there’s nothing to do but play the game, adjust to what’s going on, and ultimately enjoy it.

Love that mindset, Izzy. It’s a great way to view something. Anything. Everything!

    • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

      Yup! Yup!

Personally, I don’t get it. To me, developing a plan is downright exciting. It is about setting myself up to have a truly amazing life. I think most people have zero clue about the incredible power behind creating a plan.

Also I think a lot of it deal with the fact that most people have no idea how to set it up… That’s what I am covering in the next post on Friday :) .

      • Sean

For me, it’s the execution that’s exciting. The planning is something that needs to be done so that I can focus on and enjoy the execution.

I hate planning – but I love it.

        • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

Haha! Nice :) – It’s pretty interesting! A lot of people tend to lean towards one or other. It’s a very powerful than you tend to lean towards action! That can definitely work to your advantage.

  • Erik

Great video, and I’ve recently started to implement the three questions last week.

I’m looking forward to more posts like this one! :)

    • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

Awesome Erik ). I love hearing that you are implementing these strategies. They have had a massive impact on my life. Definitely let me know how it works out for you!

  • http://www.vishnusvirtues.com/ Vishnu

You need a game plan for every game out there.

Need a game plan for politics but do we need a game plan for life?

I’ve lived with a plan and without a plan. I think plans generally work but be prepared when plans go awry. If they do, then part of the plan has to be how to deal with the twists and turn of that plan.

It’s more like surfing (which I have 0 knowledge of) Surf with the idea of riding a wave. but if the wave capsizes you and you’re gasping for breathe, figure out a plan to get back to shore safely.

    • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

Couldn’t agree more Vishnu! I think it is always critical to have a plan, but it has to be malleable. I believe in having systems in place to constantly make sure my plans are working. If they aren’t working – then I got to step back and make changes.

Your analogy… Well… Umm… Hey the weather… (Failed attempt at subject change).

      • http://www.vishnusvirtues.com/ Vishnu

Ok, it’s like crossing the street. or jaywalking. if you do it but are about to get hit, run.

        • Sean

Haha… I’m now envisioning you and Izzy jaywalking across the street and ninja flipping out of the way of oncoming vehicles. Also, I have a sudden desire to play Frogger.

          • http://www.30yearoldninja.com/ Izmael Arkin

This is the kind of influence Vishnu has on me – I participate in illegal activities when I’m with him :)
